Lab Managers Melbourne Conference 2012
Over 100 of Australasia's Laboratory Leaders gathered in Melbourne for the 2012 Lab Managers' Conference, arranged by Science Industry Australia. Chasing prizes & prestige, they tried their best pipetting techniques to be crowned as "Best of The Best". A&D's ISO 8655 Pipette Accuracy Testing system & BM Micro Balance were judge & jury, able to determine mass within a millionth of a gram. With only a 0.01% winning margin, experience trumped youth in the end, with Dave Stacey from Pathology North winning a $600 professional catering scale. Congrats & thanks to others who gave it a red hot go. Who said Lab people were a quiet bunch!
